829 Studios is seeking a mid-level E-Commerce Email Marketing Strategist to join the Inbound Team. You will operate in Klaviyo, own performance discussions, and guide technical setup across automated workflows and audiences. Collaborate with Client Services, Web, Paid Search, and Paid Social to shape client email programs.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional leadership, and thought leadership in email and automation. Remote-friendly with optional Boston office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Experience leading and executing strategy for an e-commerce brand.
• Strong familiarity with ESPs and marketing automation tools such as Marketo, MailChimp, Active Campaign, HubSpot, and Braze.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver data-driven insights.
• Experience with client engagements around marketing automation and lead generation.
• Experience in digital advertising ecosystems and analytics.
• Marketing campaigns with lead nurturing experience.
• SMS experience with Sakari or Attentive.

Responsibilities

• Execute lifecycle marketing plans to meet schedules, performance, and budgets.
• Review monthly performance reports and recommend improvements.
• Manage email marketing strategies, programs, and calendars.
• Ensure timely deployment of targeted email campaigns.
• Own email marketing thought leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Web, Paid Search, and Paid Social teams.
• Multitask and coordinate activities to meet agile deadlines.
