Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) seeks an experienced ECMO Specialist to operate and manage ECMO therapy under physician orders, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes for pediatric and neonatal populations.

The role requires RN or RCP licensure, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and a minimum of three years in acute care. Expect rotating weeknights, weekends, and on-call shifts within a leading pediatric facility in Charlotte.

Qualifications

• RN or RCP license from an accredited school.
• Three years of acute care experience in specialty.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required/maintained.

Responsibilities

• Operate ECMO equipment according to physician orders.
• Monitor ECMO pump function, circuit, anticoagulation and gas exchange.
• Document care and charges related to ECMO; assist with cannulation/decannulation.
