Sentara Health is seeking an Echocardiographer to perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, TEE, and Doppler studies across multiple hospital settings including the Lab, OR, ICU and bedside. The role includes completing reports in the structured system and collaborating with the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab and Cath/EP suites.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited echocardiography program; RCCS/RCS/RDCS within 12 months, plus BLS and ACLS within 90 days.

Formación

• High school graduation or equivalent
• Graduate of accredited echocardiography program per IAC Guidelines
• Adult echocardiography registry within 12 months of hire (RCCS/RCS/RDCS)
• BLS within 90 days
• ACLS within 90 days
• Echocardiographer experience is highly preferred

Responsabilidades

• Perform two-dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities.
• Complete the technologist report in the structured report application.
• Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside with patients.
