Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an Echo Technician to perform echocardiograms per ASE standards and participate in adult echo/stress/TEE call coverage. You will document procedures, educate patients, and communicate findings to physicians.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms per ASE standards and protocols with high quality patient care.
• Actively working in Adult Echo/Stress/TEE/Call Coverage; may include pediatric cases.
• Recognizes arrhythmias and notifies physician as needed.
• Documents patient data accurately in medical records and ensures charges are correct.
• Educates patient and family about procedures and documents the process.
