Sentara Cardiology Specialists in Charlottesville, VA is hiring an Echocardiographer to perform a range of cardiac ultrasound exams and contribute to patient care under the cardiology team. The role requires certification in adult echocardiography within 12 months and completion of reports in our structured system.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, first shift (7:45a - 4:45p) with no nights or weekends, plus a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited trade school is required.
• Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS, RDCS or RCS) within 12 months of hire.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D, Doppler, transesophageal and pharmacological stress echocardiograms.
• Evaluate heart structures, functions and blood flow with cardiology team.
• Complete technologist reports in the structured report application.
