Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC seeks an experienced Echocardiographer to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasounds and related tests. This full-time, day-shift role offers a $25,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities include 2D echocardiography, Doppler, transesophageal and pharmacological stress echocardiograms, with formal reports completed in the structured report system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (Associate's or Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology) OR a High School Diploma along with significant experience will be considered in lieu of education, in accordance with IAC Guidelines.
• Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS, RCS or RDCS) within 12 months of hire.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

• Performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow.
• Completes the technologist report in the structured report application.
