Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiograms in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.

The role requires ARDMS in AE and/or pediatric echo, current BLS, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of an associate degree echo program or accredited echo training; a PRN schedule with hours 7:00–17:00 and flexible days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ARDMS in AE and/or pediatric echo required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Associate degree echo program or accredited echo training preferred.

Job Description

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
