Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking an echocardiography professional to perform echocardiograms in a highly technical, fast-paced setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The position requires ARDMS certification (AE and/or PR) or a credential substitute, with a preference for graduates of accredited echo programs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A pediatric echocardiography skill statement from a pediatric cardiologist may substitute for ARDMS.

Your Job:In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
