Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking an echocardiography technician for a PRN shift to perform echocardiograms as part of a multidisciplinary care team. You will collaborate across departments to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include ARDMS for adult and/or pediatric echo, an accredited echo program, and BLS; ACLS is preferred. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and an associate degree echo program graduate.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
ARDMS certification in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PE) required.
A pediatric echocardiography competency statement may substitute for ARDMS.
Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
