Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX seeks an echocardiography technologist to join a multidisciplinary team and perform echocardiograms to support high-quality patient care.

You will work 0700 to 1700, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, and must hold ARDMS AE/PR certification and current BLS; ACLS is preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and ongoing professional growth within a top hospital.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited echo program preferred.
• ARDMS certification in AE and/or PR required; pediatric echo skills may substitute.
• Current Basic Life Support; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms. Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred. Your Job Responsibilities:
