Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiograms in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging and contribute to patient care in North Texas.

The role requires ARDMS AE and/or pediatric echo certification, BLS, and an associate degree echo program or accredited training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (AE and/or pediatric echo) required.
• A pediatric echocardiography competency statement may substitute ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Job Description

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
