Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to support our multidisciplinary team. You will perform echocardiograms, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting in Richardson, TX.

The role requires ARDMS certification and either AE or PR credentials, with BLS current. ACLS preferred. Join a Magnet-designated, 443-bed acute care hospital serving Dallas and Collin counties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree echo program preferred.
• ARDMS in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A pediatric echocardiography competency substitute may apply in lieu of ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
