Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a qualified echocardiographer to join our fast-paced team and perform high-quality cardiac imaging for patients of all ages. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate studies and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include clear communication, building collaborative relationships, and ongoing professional growth while delivering exceptional patient care in our growing Texas facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in echocardiography and/or accredited echo training.
• ARDMS AE and/or PR required.
• Written statement substituting pediatric ARDMS acceptable.
• Current Basic Life Support; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Job description

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.

The $237 million facility will be one of Celina’s largest employers in the fastest growing city in the country.
