Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center, a 54-bed acute care hospital serving North Texas communities, seeks an echocardiography technologist. You will perform echocardiograms as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

This role requires ARDMS certification in AE and/or PE, a related associate degree or accredited program, and current BLS. The hospital offers advanced cardiac imaging capabilities and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in echocardiography or accredited training preferred.
• ARDMS in AE and/or PE required.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
• A pediatric echocardiography credential may be substituted for ARDMS by a pediatric cardiologist statement.

Job Description :

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
