Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms within a multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in delivering accurate imaging and collaborating with cardiology colleagues.

Candidates must hold ARDMS certification in AE and/or pediatric echo, be current with BLS, and may substitute ARDMS with a pediatric cardiologist statement. An associate degree echo training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in echocardiography or accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS AE and/or pediatric echo certification required.
• Written statement from a pediatric cardiologist may substitute for ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
