Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking an echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiograms within a highly technical and fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements include ARDMS AE/PR and graduation from an echo program; pediatric competency may substitute ARDMS with a cardiologist's statement. BLS is required; ACLS is preferred.

Qualificações

• Requires ARDMS in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or accredited echo training program preferred.
• A pediatric echocardiography competency may substitute for ARDMS upon written statement from a pediatric cardiologist.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Job Description

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community's first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women's services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more.
