Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in the Dallas–Fort Worth area seeks an experienced echocardiography technologist to perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest quality patient care.

Required qualifications include ARDMS AE/PR, an associate degree echo program or accredited training preferred, high school diploma, BLS, and willingness to work PRN with hours 0700–1700. ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate degree echo program or accredited echo training preferred.
• ARDMS in AE and/or PR required; pediatric echo substitute possible with pediatric cardiologist statement.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms. Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
