Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to join a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team. You will perform echocardiograms and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care in a full-service hospital setting.

The position requires ARDMS certification (AE/PR) or a pediatric cardiologist letter as a substitute, and BLS is required with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree echo program or accredited echo training preferred.
• ARDMS AE/PR required.
• Pediatric echocardiography competency may substitute ARDMS with a pediatric cardiologist letter.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Work Shift :Job Description : Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
