Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking an echocardiography professional to join a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team. You will perform echocardiograms and collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional patient care in a 443-bed acute care hospital.

The role requires ARDMS certification (AE/PR) or an eligible substitute, BLS at minimum, and a preference for ACLS. Hours are 0700 to 1700, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, in a setting that serves Dallas and Collin counties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
