Job summary

Sentara Beach Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Echocardiographer to perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiograms, and Doppler ultrasound in the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR and ICU, as well as bedside assessments. Requires Cardiovascular Technology degree (or Echo Tech experience in lieu), and ARDMS/RDCS/RCS certification within 12 months; Basic Life Support.

This full-time role offers 8-hour shifts starting at 8am with call.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent.
• Echo tech experience can substitute education.
• Certification in ARDMS/RDCS/RCS within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echo, Stress Echo, TEE and Doppler tests.
• Work across Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP, Cath Lab, OR and ICU.
• Provide bedside echocardiography assessments as needed.

Sentara Beach Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Echocardiographer

Shift: Full-time

8 hour shifts starting at 8am. Call Required.

Position Overview

Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and will also work with patients at the bedside.

Required Education

• Bachelor's Level Degree, Associate's Level Degree - CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma.
• Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes

License and Certifications

• Basic Life Support Required
• Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.
