Job summary

Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, VA seeks an experienced Senior Echocardiographer to perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler studies. You will work across Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside duties. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as an Echocardiographer or Echo Tech.
• Active Basic Life Support certification.
• Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS/RDCS/RCS) required within 12 months of hire.

• Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound.
• Work across Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and at patient bedside.

Position Overview:

Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and willalso work with patients at the bedside. 3 years of experience required

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Level Degree, Associate's Level Degree - CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma.
• Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes

License and Certifications:

• Basic Life SupportRequired
• Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.
