Requires high school diploma and completion of an accredited echocardiography program, with RCCS/RCS/RDCS certification within 12 months, plus BLS and ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program or equivalent education.
• Certification in adult echocardiography (RCCS/RCS/RDCS) within 12 months of hire.
• BLS and ACLS required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echo, Stress Echo, TEE, and Doppler studies.
• Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP, Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside.
• Complete technologist reports in the structured report application.

Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and will also work with patients at the bedside.Performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities.
