Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technician to support the clinical team with ultrasound exams, patient education, and quality care at Saint Joseph Hospital. The role demands technical proficiency, patient safety focus, and collaboration across physicians, caregivers, and students; full-time, 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Echo Technologist certification(s) required or recognized.
• Advanced registry credentials are preferred as listed in the job postings.
• Minimum and preferred education align with department expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols and prioritize exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, and patients.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and safety.
• Document results and ensure accurate coding of exams.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and mentor staff/students.
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies; escalate repairs as needed.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment and safety culture.
