Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking an Echo Vascular Technician (PRN) to join our Vascular Lab team in Largo, Florida. The role focuses on non-invasive echocardiography procedures, documentation, and patient care within a world-class health system.

Ideal candidates have RVT and BLS certifications, 1–3 years’ experience, and familiarity with Meditech; you will work to ensure accurate results for physicians and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians.
• RVT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Meditech knowledge.
• 1 to 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform special non-invasive procedures, mount the findings, and ready the results for the physician to read.
• Complete all paperwork in the Meditech & PACS computer system.
• Maintain knowledge and skills and support hospital goals.
• Recognize and respond to life threatening situations.
• Perform non-invasive procedures (M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, ECGs, Holter).

As an Echo Tech on our team, your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Perform special non-invasive procedures, mount the findings, and ready the results for the physician to read
• Complete all paperwork in the Meditech & PACS computer system
• Maintain accountability for his/her own knowledge and skills, and supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital
• Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to life threatening situations
• Must be able to perform special non-invasive procedures (M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, Electrocardiograms, Signal averaged Electrocardiograms and Holter Monitoring)

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians
