Job summary

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital seeks an Echo Vascular Technician PRN to perform diagnostic echocardiography and vascular studies per physician orders.

You will contribute to patient care with sound judgment and technical proficiency while supporting a caring, patient-centered environment. Qualified candidates hold RVT/RVS and RDCS/RCS credentials or equivalent, have at least one year of clinical experience, and possess a valid BLS.

Qualifications

• One year clinical experience required.
• Certified by RVT or RVS within 12 months.
• RDCS or RCS or RVT or RVS required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency.
• Good interpersonal, communications skills, and ability to establish organizational skills.
• Able to use independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• The Echo/Vascular Technician performs diagnostic testing per physician orders and established standards.
• Maintains patient safety and accurate documentation of results.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Echo/Vascular Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and sound judgment in the delivery of patient care. The Echo/Vascular Technician is responsible and accountable for the provision of diagnostic testing to assigned patient population in accordance with physician’s orders, recognized technician techniques, and polices procedures, established standards, and administrative policies of the organization.
