Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking an Echo Vascular Technician to join our Vascular Lab on a full-time basis. You will perform comprehensive echocardiography studies and generate interpretation-ready results for physicians.

Ideal candidates hold RVT and BLS certifications, have 1–3 years of experience, and are proficient with Meditech and PACS systems. You will work with a dedicated team in a high-quality care environment that emphasizes patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians.
• RVT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Meditech knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive echocardiography procedures and prepare findings for physician review.
• Complete paperwork in Meditech and PACS systems.
• Maintain knowledge and skills aligned with hospital objectives.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to life-threatening situations.
• Perform M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, ECGs, and Holter monitoring.

Echo Vascular Technician

We are currently seeking an Echocardiogram Technician (Echo Tech) on a full-time basis in our Vascular Lab.

As an Echo Tech on our team, your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Perform special non-invasive procedures, mount the findings, and ready the results for the physician to read
• Complete all paperwork in the Meditech & PACS computer system
• Maintain accountability for his/her own knowledge and skills, and supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital
• Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to life threatening situations
• Must be able to perform special non-invasive procedures (M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, Electrocardiograms, Signal averaged Electrocardiograms and Holter Monitoring)

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians
• RVT certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Meditech knowledge
• 1 to 3 years of experience
