Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Florida is seeking an Echo Technologist for PRN coverage. The role involves performing diagnostic echocardiography with specialized equipment and collaborating with physicians and health care professionals to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualified candidates demonstrate proficiency in cardiac sonography and maintain strong communication with patients and the health care team. Certification and ongoing education are encouraged to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Echo Technologist performs diagnostic procedures utilizing specialized equipment. The technologist demonstrates proficiency with all cardiac sonographic modalities required to facilitate physician diagnosis. Maintains strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all customers and other health care professionals.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (CCT) Certified Cardiographic Technician, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate, or Certificate
