Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Echo Technologist to perform and interpret echocardiography studies under supervision, with some travel to alternate office locations.

Requirements include graduation from an approved program in echocardiography/vascular technology; ARDMS/CCI registry eligibility; RDCS with RVT preferred; and BLS/CPR certification, with a strong patient-care focus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program in echocardiography and vascular technology or equivalent.
• Registry eligibility in echocardiography through ARDMS or CCI; RDCS with RVT preferred; CPR/BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms with measurements and calculations as directed.
• Evaluate pathology and notify physician of critical data.
• Review procedures with physicians and Medical Director as needed.
• Handle clerical duties for echo/vascular department and enter charges in EMR.
• Troubleshoot equipment and arrange service as needed; perform routine maintenance.
• Travel to alternate office locations to meet department needs.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists about findings and patient care.
• Ensure proper order entry and optimize use of supplies and services.
