Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a PRN Registered Echo Technologist in Naples, FL. The role involves performing routine and complex echocardiography exams, preliminary interpretation, and vascular ultrasound examinations under supervision. Occasional travel to alternate office locations may be required.

Graduate of an approved echocardiography/vascular tech program with registry in echocardiography (ARDMS/CCI). RDCS with RVT preferred; CCI acceptable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program of echocardiography/vascular tech or equivalent.
• Must have registry in echocardiography by ARDMS or CCI.
• RDCS with RVT preferred; CCI also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality echocardiograms with measurements and calculations as directed by Medical Director.
• Evaluates abnormal findings and notifies physician promptly.
• Reviews procedures with physicians and Medical Director as needed.
• Handles clerical duties for echo/vascular department, including archiving and entering charges into EMR.
• Troubleshoots equipment and coordinates maintenance.
