Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a Registered Echo Technologist to perform routine and complex echocardiography studies under general supervision at our Fort Myers location. The role requires accurate interpretation and collaboration with physicians, with travel to alternate office as needed.

Graduate of an approved echocardiography/vascular tech program with registry eligibility (ARDMS/CCI) and BLS/ CPR certification. Competitive benefits and a patient-centered team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program of echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography, non-invasive cardiovascular technology or equivalent education and training.
• Must have registry eligibility or be registered in echocardiography by ARDMS or CCI.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality echocardiograms with measurements and calculations per Medical Director.
• Evaluates abnormal pathology and notifies physician of critical data.
• Reviews procedures with physicians and Medical Director as needed.
• Handles clerical duties in echo/vascular department including prep, logging, archiving, and billing entry.
• Maintains equipment and performs routine maintenance; travels to alternate office as needed.
