Job summary

Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. seeks an Echo Vascular Tech to join our team in California. You will perform and monitor echocardiograms, calculating and documenting pertinent values for physician review.

You will communicate patient condition changes to physicians, managers, and colleagues during tests to support accurate interpretations. Qualifications include RDCS certification, RDVS or RVT registration (or eligibility within 6 months), and BLS certification, with 3+ years of echo experience

Qualifications

• Board-certified echocardiography technologist with RDCS.
• Registered vascular sonographer (RDVS or RVT) or eligible within 6 months.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and monitors echocardiogram procedures (cardiac ultrasound).
• Calculates, measures and documents values for physician review and interpretation.
• Communicates changes in patients' clinical conditions with physicians and staff during procedures.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified with the Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Required upon hire
• Registered Vascular Sonographer (RDVS or RVT), If not currently registered, must be registered within 6 months of hire
• BLS
• 3+ years of experience as an Echocardiographer in all modalities of Echo with adult and geriatric patients.
• TEE, Stress Echo experience required
• Vascular Ultrasound experience preferred
• In-patient testing for neonate, pediatrics, adolescent preferred
