• Base Pay $20.66 - $22.79 / Hour

Job Purpose

Performs and assists with electrocardiograms, cardiac stress tests, 24-hour Holter Monitors, and electroencephalograms. Reviews recording for quality and clarity. Maintains ECG Department equipment, supplies, and reports problems to the supervisor. Acts as a resource to patient scheduling department when necessary. All duties are performed taking into account the individual patient's special physical, mental or age-related needs.

Education

High School Graduate or equivalent. Must have basic life support training.

Preferred

Medical training post high school and computer training .

License/Certification/Registration

American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certificate.

Experience

Requires One (1) year prior experience in ECG. Six (6) months experience with Stress testing and Holter Monitor hook-up. Six (6) months experience with EEG and head electrode hook-ups.
