Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic electrocardiographic procedures promptly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Completes cardiology procedures with attention to quality.
• Demonstrates technique for routine ECGs.
• Acquires Signal Average ECGs per physician specifications.
• Applies 24-hour Holter monitor and ensures proper recording.
• Operates Holter scanning equipment and documents significant data.

• * Completes cardiology procedures paying particular attention to all details insuring a quality study.
• * Demonstrates proper technique for performing routine ECG s.
• * Acquires Signal Average ECG s according to physician s specifications.
• * Applies 24 hour holter monitor utilizing test strip to insure proper recording.
• * Operates holter scanning equipment, scans are thoroughly analyzed, significant data recognized and representative strips documented.
• * Demonstrates ability to apply event recorders.

Licensure

• * Current CPR required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• * High School diploma or equivalent required.
• * Previous experience of at least one year preferred.
• * Requires ability to perform all basic electrocardiographic procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
