Job summary

Humanoid seeks an ECAD Librarian to own and grow our Altium component library for its fast‑moving humanoid hardware program. You will manage schematic symbols, footprints, and data across Boston, Vancouver and London teams, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability from draft through production.

You’ll enforce standards, verify part data against datasheets, and support traceability, with opportunities to influence parts selection and integration with PLM systems as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Altium Designer, including schematic library and PCB footprint creation.
• Strong attention to detail — verify pin counts, pad geometry, and package dimensions before production.
• Familiarity with PLM concepts (draft/preliminary/released states, where-used traceability).
• Understanding standard component conventions and approved manufacturer alternates.
• Bonus: experience with Teamcenter or ERP integration.
• Bonus: hardware startup or fast-scaling engineering org library hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Own the Altium component library and maintain symbols, footprints, and 3D models.
• Enforce library standards and naming conventions across components.
• Manage component lifecycle from Draft to Production in Altium.
• Verify manufacturer part numbers, alternates, and data attached to parts.
• Support where-used traceability for components, symbols, and footprints.
• Collaborate with Boston and London EE teams on requests and changes.
• Align Altium data with Teamcenter PLM and part numbering schemes.
• Perform bulk library cleanups to reduce duplication and inconsistencies.
• Document library rules and conventions in Confluence.
