Qualifications

• WorkKeys and 96 hours of in-service training or equivalent.
• Completion of NC DOL Teacher Assistant Apprenticeship Program.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all laws, policies, and procedures.
• Assist children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, and gymnasiums.
• Enforce administration policies and rules governing students.
• Collect data to document progress toward IEP goals.
• Prepare lesson materials, displays, and demonstrations.
