Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. in Andover, MA is seeking a Senior Sales Territory Manager to develop new accounts and expand existing ones across the Eastern U.S., promoting Ophir beam profilers and power meters, and building strong customer relationships.

You will travel up to 30% to demonstrate products, quote, forecast, and collaborate with CRM, while leveraging technical know-how and negotiation skills to meet sales targets and drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Photonics-related field.
• Five (5) years of demonstrated success in a customer facing role.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment and/or lasers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Compliance with sales policy and regulations.
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand accounts in the Eastern United States and named accounts.
• Identify business opportunities and market segments for Ophir instruments (beam profilers and power meters).
• Maintain and expedite orders, prepare quotes, and contact customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers at multiple levels.
• Demonstrate products at customer sites and trade shows (up to 30% travel).
• Forecast orders and provide accurate input to Sales Management.
• Maintain orders pipeline and opportunities in CRM; share best practices.
