Job summary

ALS seeks a Regional Field Services Manager to lead field operations across the Eastern region, coordinating Couriers, Field Techs, and Well Techs while standardizing scheduling, routing, and safety practices.

You will partner with Laboratory Directors, Client Services, and Sales to ensure samples are picked up on time, routes are optimized, and fleet resources are managed for efficiency and client satisfaction. Travel regionally will be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of field services, logistics, or operations experience; laboratory or environmental industry experience strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory or multi-site leadership experience.
• Experience scheduling, routing, logistics planning, or fleet management processes.
• Working knowledge of laboratory quality systems and environmental regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and performance management for Couriers, Field Techs, and Well Techs across multiple ALS locations.
• Build a collaborative, aligned team culture across all field service operations.
• Support staffing decisions, workforce planning, and cross-site coverage strategies to meet regional needs.
• Use standardized scheduling and routing to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure region-wide SOPs for sample pickups, equipment use, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee regional KPIs for productivity, turnaround times, route utilization, and costs.
