Job summary

ALS is seeking a Regional Field Services Manager to lead field operations across the Eastern region, optimizing sample pickup, transport routes, and staffing. You will supervise Couriers, Field Techs, and Well Techs, driving standardized practices, safety, and client satisfaction while collaborating with laboratory leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field services, logistics, or operations experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or multi-site leadership experience.
• Experience scheduling, routing, logistics planning, or fleet management.
• Working knowledge of laboratory quality systems and environmental regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects, teamwork, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with field data collection tools, GPS/GIS systems, field sampling processes and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of scheduling and dispatch through Onfleet.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and performance management for Couriers, Field Techs, and Well Techs across multiple ALS locations.
• Build a collaborative, aligned team culture across all field service operations.
• Support staffing decisions, workforce planning, and cross-site coverage strategies to meet regional needs.
• Use standardized scheduling and routing models to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure region-wide SOPs are followed for sample pickups, equipment use, vehicle care, and safety.
• Oversee safety training, incident prevention, and adherence to regulatory and ALS safety standards.
• Manage regional costs related to field services, labor, fleet, and equipment.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Laboratory Directors, Client Services, and Sales.
• Support regional projects and cross-site operational integration.
