Job summary

Suffolk Credit Union is seeking a Floating Assistant Branch Manager to cover branch leadership across the Eastern Region (Miller Place, Sayville, East Port, Riverhead). You will supervise staff, coach teams, and ensure high member service standards while supporting branch operations during absences.

The role requires supervisory experience in a financial institution, notary license within 3 months, and NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator credentials if not already held.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with supervisory experience.
• Notary license must be obtained within three months of hire.
• NMLS-Mortgage Loan Originator license required or provided at hire.
• Bilingual is preferred for this region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch employees and floating staff, organize scheduling, coaching, and staffing decisions with People Operations.
• Manage scheduling, time cards, and training for branch teams.
• Monitor branch performance to meet goals and assist with escalated member issues.
• Handle cash orders, wires, deposits, and debit card issues; support audits and compliance.
• Participate in community events and cross-department coordination.
