Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an HV Regional Manager for the Eastern Region to oversee high-voltage substation and interconnection projects across ISO-NE, NYISO, and PJM markets. This remote-to-start role will manage a multi-site portfolio and lead a distributed regional team.

The role requires deep HV construction knowledge, 8–10 years of leadership experience, QEW certification, and strong safety and quality focus within NERC standards. Significant travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent HV field experience preferred.
• 8–10 years HV substation/transmission/interconnection construction experience.
• Proven project management and budget forecasting success.
• Familiarity with ISO/utility markets and AVL qualification process.
• QEW certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Excellent communication and leadership for distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HV substation, transmission, and interconnection projects in the Eastern region.
• Monitor progress, budget, and milestones; manage risk across regional portfolio.
• Lead team of PEs, PMs and field staff, building a high-performance culture.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with NERC and utility requirements.
• Engage with clients/utilities to secure projects and AVL qualifications.
