This position supports outreach, promotional efforts, and technical guidance across a wide geographic area to promote strong apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. It plays a key role in conducting provisional and compliance reviews and helping sponsors strengthen and maintain effective programs. As an Eastern Compliance Apprenticeship and Training Representative, you will perform the following duties:
- Field Outreach: Engage organizations across the assigned region to assess program needs and provide guidance
- Site Reviews: Conduct provisional and compliance reviews at work sites and meet with employer and sponsor contacts
- Record Tracking: Maintain review documentation and update required systems to support ongoing program compliance
- Sponsor Support: Assist sponsors in resolving concerns and offer recommended actions aligned with apprenticeship standards
- Public Engagement: Deliver presentations and training sessions for statewide and local audiences to expand apprenticeship awareness
- System Reporting: Manage tracking systems, maintain RAPIDS entries, and prepare reports related to apprenticeship efforts

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to your designated headquarter location fulltime. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Workforce Development Analyst 1; or
- Two years of experience in performing technical work in a workforce development program, and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This position requires federally compliant identification such as a U.S. Passport, REAL ID, or Military ID at the time of conditional job offer.

- We will also consider applications from current Commonwealth employees in pay scale group ST06 for which there is a logical occupational, functional, or career developmental relationship to this position. All applicants must meet the minimum experience and training requirements.
- Employees who previously held regular civil service status in the job title of the position being filled are also eligible for promotion without examination.
- The promotion without examination requirements are issued in accordance with merit system employment regulations.
