This position focuses on strengthening statewide training that supports SUD, gambling professionals, and other stakeholders. As a Training Coordinator, you will perform the following duties:
- Needs Assessment: Assess educational needs across the field to guide training decisions
- Course Evaluation: Evaluate course content and instructor performance to maintain high-quality standards
- Instructor Recruitment: Recruit and contract with new instructors who bring expertise and best practices
- Content Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to update, develop, and maintain adult education materials
- Event Execution: Coordinate and execute Training of Trainers events for statewide audiences
- Technical Assistance: Provide support to instructors, students, Single County Authorities, and other stakeholders

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report to the office two days per week and for special events as necessary. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or
- Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

This position is not subject to the promotion provisions of a collective bargaining agreement or memorandum of understanding.
You must be eligible for selection in accordance with merit system employment regulations.

- Employees who previously held regular civil service status in the job title of the position being filled are also eligible for promotion without examination.
