Job summary

Thompson Machinery is seeking a Regional Product Support Sales Manager for the East Region based in Nashville, TN. This role directs Product Support operations across multiple branches, partnering with Sales, Service, Parts, and Caterpillar resources to meet profit, market share, and customer satisfaction goals.

The position requires leadership of regional staff, strategic implementation, and coordination across departments to optimize service, parts, and sales performance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of management-level equipment service experience with P&L responsibility.
• Profit & Loss responsibility with strong financial acumen.
• Proven ability to develop subordinates to higher levels of responsibility.
• Excellent communication, presentation skills across levels and departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field or relevant experience preferred; HS diploma required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Moderate travel within region and Dealership territory.

Responsibilities

• Grow and profitably manage Nashville Region branch facilities.
• Develop management and succession planning within the region.
• Lead budget and business planning activities.
• Plan fleet deployments and ensure efficient utilization; manage end-of-service disposal.
• Coordinate staffing and training needs; develop employee skills.
• Provide safety leadership and ensure regulatory compliance.
