Job summary

LVI Associates in Northern Virginia is seeking an experienced Earthwork Project Manager to oversee earthwork, grading, and site development projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, coordinating with Superintendents and field teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in heavy civil construction, reads civil drawings, and communicates effectively with owners, engineers, and inspectors. Hybrid work arrangement offered with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Assistant PM, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction.
• Strong background in earthwork, grading, excavation, and site development.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with project management and cost tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Manage earthwork and site development projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement.
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams.
• Track project costs, production, change orders, and overall project performance.
• Review plans, specifications, and grading plans.
• Interface with owners, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
