Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead civil site development projects ranging from industrial to infrastructure. You’ll manage schedule, budget, and overall project performance, coordinating with field teams, clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The role covers preconstruction through to project closeout, with emphasis on earthwork, utilities, and site infrastructure. Travel to Northeast/DMV projects is required.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of civil construction experience.
• Experience with earthwork, utilities, site development.
• Ability to read civil plans and utility plans.
• Willingness to travel to Northeast/DMV as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of civil site development projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee earthwork, grading, excavation, drainage, and underground utilities.
• Manage budgets, schedules, costs, and project profitability.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review plans and specs; identify issues before they impact the project.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
• Track quantities, production, and project costs; ensure schedule adherence.
• Support estimating and preconstruction activities including takeoffs and budgeting.
