Job summary

Northeast Delta Human Services Authority seeks a Community Service Supervisor to oversee regional EarlySteps intake operations and staff, ensuring timely and compliant processing of referrals and IFSP activities. The role provides guidance, quality assurance, and coordination with state and local partners.

You will supervise intake personnel, monitor performance, and implement standardized procedures while addressing operational issues and opportunities for improvement in Northeast Louisiana.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in providing health or developmentally disabled services, counseling, health care management, or social services.
• Six years of full-time work experience plus four years of experience in providing health or developmentally disabled services, counseling, health care management, or social services.
• A bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience in providing health or developmentally disabled services, counseling, health care management, or social services.
• An advanced degree in a social sciences field, nursing, public health; public, hospital, or health administration; or related therapies with three years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, and evaluates the work of intake coordinators and other staff; participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• Conducts weekly supervisory meetings to review referral activity and records; document concerns and follow-up actions.
• Monitors workloads, referrals, and caseloads to ensure timely processing of referrals; observes intake activities and IFSP meetings for performance.
• Completes employee performance evaluations and addresses concerns per personnel procedures.
• Directs and monitors daily intake operations including referrals intake screening and coordination of subsequent activities.
• Monitors data entry accuracy and documentation in the EarlySteps system; represents regional intake in meetings with state office and partners.
