Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Material Handler-1 Storeroom for the 2nd shift in Greenwood, SC. You will receive and issue raw materials, handle paperwork for data entry, assist planners on material availability, and prepare finished goods for shipping.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment, maintain inventory with 5S, and participate in process improvements. A high school diploma and forklift experience are required; SCMC or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating a forklift and material handling equipment.
• Experience with material management systems (MRP/ERP AS400) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue raw materials, assemblies, sub-assemblies, tools, and supplies.
• Box, pack and ship finished product and all raw materials as appropriate.
• Assist planners and buyers on material availability related processes.
• Maintain inventory and perform 5S duties; drive continuous improvement.
• Operate forklift to move material and support related tasks.
