Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Back Storeroom Coordinator for our Sumter, SC facility. The role supports Storeroom operations, coordinating daily activities to ensure material handling processes are accurate and timely to meet customer needs.

The Storeroom Coordinator will assist with process execution, inventory accuracy, training coordination, reporting, and cross-shift communication, driving efficiency and supporting production, quality, and service goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or materials processing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Forklift experience required.
• Must be within 50 miles of Sumter, SC.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production teams to procure materials and components to support production schedules.
• Process and complete all NCMRs accurately and route them by day end.
• Coordinate and execute cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Review and process kit checks to ensure materials are complete and available for production.
• Participate in Tier 2 meetings and communicate material, inventory, and operational issues as needed.
• Maintain the Clear Dock Report and resolve open items and material concerns.
• Perform process checks and audits to ensure compliance with storeroom procedures and inventory control standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
