Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC is seeking a Steel Kitter/Material Handler-Forklift Operator. The role supports shipping, material allocation, cycle counts and lean improvements to ensure on-time orders and Eaton quality standards.

You will operate forklifts and cranes, receive and issue materials, assist assembly, apply labels, and maintain a clean 5S workplace. Must have HS diploma and be eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without Company sponsorship.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Sumter SC to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to transport and locate equipment and materials.
• Receive, document, store, stage and issue materials to satisfy production needs.
• Support assembly and fabrication requirements for materials.
• Package and label equipment, parts, and materials for shipment or staging.
• Perform quality checks and pursue lean improvements in processes.
• Adhere to safety, 5S standards and park/organize the work area.
