Job summary

JCPenney in California is seeking an Operations Associate to deliver an outstanding customer experience by performing in-store operations before opening. This early-morning position works with a team to execute tasks across pricing, replenishment, receiving, and omnichannel processes.

You will help customers, restock merchandise, unload trucks, maintain backroom standards, and participate in Buy Online Pickup in Store duties.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service - you maneuver around the store at a fast pace and assist customers.
• Executes pricing and signing - you can change ticket prices and signage quickly.
• Replenish and restock the store - you pull and prepare merchandise for the floor.
• Receive and unload merchandise - you work with teammates to unload trucks.
• Backroom standards - keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Omnichannel - contribute to Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, and related processes.
• Merchandise strategy - place merchandise as directed by leadership with accuracy.
• Participates in a learning environment - absorb new information from peers and training materials.
